on the cool side...

The latest PTI princess challenge was to create card using either only warm or cool tones.  I immediately went cool - the blues of the ocean and the greens of summer found their way onto my card...

I stamped the newsprint background over my white mat, distressed the edges, and cut into it with my "turning a new leaf" die, and popped it up on foam squares.  In the negative space, I stamped the coordinating leaf image.

Thanks for looking!

  1. This is so clever. I love it. Those colors remind me of a cool Caribbean breeze--I must have vacation on the brain.

  2. I used the newsprint set today as well... I love that you stamped in such a fresh color. The "window cutting" I see people using with the dies is so lovely and smart... just like you, my dear! ;)

  3. So tranquil. Wonderful choices indeed. I admire your clean and very sophisticated style seeing that I am such a grub myself. But I can so appreciate your crafting genius. So well done.

  5. This is fabulous! I love how you used the aperture effect for the TANL stamp and how you used the Newsprint stamps makes me want to bump them to the top of my wishlist.

  6. This is a very fresh and unique use of the TANL dies and stamps. I love the way the green really 'pops' against the blue newsprint.
